NOTES :

Thomas was the son of Peter and Mary Antonie (nee Richter) Anderson. He grew up with his five siblings in Emu Vale, Tannymorel and Loch Lomond. He was known to his family as Tom.

Twelve months after the start of the First World War, Thomas decided to travel to Brisbane to enlist.

His father was notified that Thomas had suffered burns to his face and hands in early 1918 and he spent four months in hospital before return to Australia.

On 16^th August 1920 Thomas married Mary Ellen Galvin.

Thomas passed away in Loch Lomond and his funeral notice read:

Anderson: The relatives and friends of Mrs M E Andeson and family of Loch Lomond, via Warwick, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral of her late beloved husband, and their father, Peter (Tom) Anderson, late Howitzer Battery, A.I.F., which will move from the Warwick Railway Station on arrival of the mail train from Brisbane. Tomorrow, Tuesday afternoon, for the Warwick Cemetery.
