NOTES : William was accidently killed during a practice attack exercise.
William was the son of William Robert and Lilian Maud Anderson of Warwick. He attended Warwick Central State School and Warwick State High School. Upon graduating he took a clerical job at McDougall and Co, Stock and Station Agents, Warwick. Prior to his enlistment he married his fiancé Tasmene Satchwell.
During a training exercise his plane ditched into the sea and the bodies of the crew were never recovered. He was one of 37 local men who enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force to lose their lives during the Second World War.
