NOTES : Ian was accidently killed during a cini gun training session. Ian first enlisted in the Australian Army (Q130508) before enlisting in the RAAF.
Ian’s brothers who also served in WWII were William Angus (QX6243) Military Cross and Edwin Romanis Angus (QX55780).
He was the son of William and Elizabeth Stella Angus of Locke Street, Warwick. Ian started school at Warwick Central before going to Warwick State High School. He received a State Scholarship to SCOTS College and completed his schooling there. He was a prominent sportsman and excelled at swimming and athletics.
