NOTES : Alfred was the son of Alfred Ernest and Nellie Maude Bradford and one of six Bradford children to serve in WWII.
His brothers and sisters were Leonard Douglas Bradford QX34166, Eric Charles Bradford QX37705, Alan Hamilton Bradford 426494, Winifred Bradford AWAS Ambulance Driver and Helen Bradford who worked in a munitions factory, assembly and repairs of aircraft.
Alfred attended Mt Colliery State School and Warwick State High School. He was a Rat or Tobruk and fought in the Greek Offensive and the Battle of Crete before going to Papua New Guinea where he was killed in action.
