NOTES : Alexander’s brother William Edgar Chamberlin NX18181 also served in the Second World War.  His parents were John Billiatt Bigsby and Nellie Chamberlin (nee Muir). He is know to be one of the legendary, ‘Rats of Tobruk’. Alexander Chamberlin was discharged from service on 5/09/1944.
