NOTES : Trevor’s brothers were Major General Cyril Clowes DSO & MC and Brigadier Norman Clowes DSO & MC.

He was the son of Albert and Louise Annabel Clowes of Locke Street, Warwick.

Trevor attended Warwick Central State School and Warwick State High School where he was a school prefect and and member of the Sports Committee.

He attained two scholarships to Duntroon Military College. He served in the Middle East and Papua New Guinea.
