NOTES : Harold Jackson FLETCHER was accidently killed during a night flying exercise.
Jack as he was known as, was the son of former Alderman of Warwick, Edwin and wife Edith May Fletcher. His brother was Major Edwin Donald Fletcher QX62866.
Jack attended Brisbane Boys College and then studied for a law exam at Warwick State High School. He was a member of the school First XV football team.
Jack married Shelia Thornburn Simpson on 15 October 1941 at St Mark’s Anglican Church in Warwick. Their son David was born in Allora but sadly died at the age of five weeks.
Jack’s initials are incorrectly recorded as JH on Warwick The Fallen 1939-1945 memorial.
