NOTES : Clifford who was known to his family as Cliff or Bondy, was born in Warwick and was the son of James and Susan Lilliam Frith (nee Quinn) of Wallace Street, Warwick.  Cliff and his brother, Ronald Frith Q147231  both enlisted during the Second World War. Cliff did three tours of Papua New Guinea during his service and was on Bougainville in November 1944. He received his official discharge from the army on 20th October 1945.

He married Dorothy Margaret Ryan of Warwick and they had two children.
