NOTES : Brothers: Ernest George Lewis 2951, Frederick James Lewis 2357, George Albion Lewis 1616, Thomas Arthur Lewis 1772, William John Lewis 1984.  Charles and Katurah Lewis (nee Woods) from Freestone saw their six sons off to serve in the First World War. Fortunately, all six brothers returned home safely. Richard was married to Ada Lillian Lewis. He was discharged Medically Unfit 1919.
