NOTES : Clive died af acute appendicitis and peritonitis while serving in the Australian Army.
His parents were Angus and Jessie Maud Nelson of Wallace Street, Warwick. Clive attended Warwick East State School and Warwick State High School.
After leaving school he started working for Henry Hutchinson, an orchardist living at Cottonvale.
Clive originally enlisted but was declared unfit for overseas service, his service number was Q1347.
