NOTES : David Skene Paterson was the son of David Skene and Lucy Neal Paterson of Barcaldine.
David attended SCOTS College in Warwick.
David and his brothers James Hugh Paterson 414076 MBE and Thomas Skene Paterson QX1200 all served in the Second World War.
While on an operation flight, David’s aircraft crashed on Heron Island off the Queensland coast.
