NOTES :

Charles Edward Miller is recorded as having been born in Dalveen, Queensland. At just 18 years of age, Charles enlisted at Brisbane on August 15, 1915 and named his sister Rose Miller as his next of kin.

During his time in Egypt, he was detached to the School of Instruction. He spent a brief time in hospital suffering from knee trouble and later returned to hospital suffering from malaria. Charles returned to Australia and was discharged medically unfit for service on June 21, 1919.
